William E. Craigo


William Earl “Squack” Craigo, 88, of Red House died March 10, 2000, at home after a short illness.
He was retired from Union Carbide, Institute Plant, with 29 years' service. He was a former miner, a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of the VFW and a 48-year resident of Red House.
Surviving: daughters, Patricia A. Mallett of Cross Lanes and Frances Louise Sheridan of Springfield, Virginia; son, William L. Craigo of Prattville, Alabama; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Service was held March 13, 2000 at Gatens Funeral Home, Poca, with the Rev. Billy Lucas officiating. Burial was in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Memorial donations may be made to Kanawha Hospice Care, Inc., 1143 Dunbar Avenue, Dunbar WV 25064.
