TALMADGE, Ohio _ Mrs. Thelma Freda Simpson, 72, of Talmadge, formerly of Dunbar, W.Va., died Oct. 2, 1986, in St. Thomas Hospital, Akron, after a long illness. She was a retired cook for Kanawha County (W.Va.) Board of Education with 15 years' service and was a member of Rebecca Chapel, Dunbar. Surviving: son, James O. Maddox of Talmadge; stepson, Jack of St .Albans, W.Va.; stepdaughter, Mrs. Jewell Copenhaver of Cleveland;. brother, Gordon Crago of St. Albans; half brother, Don Crago of Ohio; half sisters, Mrs. Fay Harvey of Newcomerstown, Mrs. Inez Bragg of Rockford, Ill.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
