Susan M. Craigo Lewis

RED HOUSE - Susan M. Craigo Lewis, 81, of Red House died Sept. 30, 2002, in Putnam General Hospital.

Mrs. Lewis was born and raised in Plymouth. She was retired from the Putnam County Board of Education with 17 years of service. She was a former employee of Eleanor Hosiery and Fletcher Enamel. She attended Lone Oak Church of God Mission.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Barbara Lewis of Red House, Jerry and Retta Lewis of Scott Depot; three daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Jack Lewis of Red House, Evelyn Lucas of Scott Depot, Diane and Jim Walker of Nitro; stepson, Bill Lewis and wife, Carol, of Bancroft; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; 15 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Gatens Funeral Home, Poca, with Paul Arthur officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens, Red House.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Gatens Funeral Home, Poca.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kanawha Hospice Care, 1143 Dunbar Ave., Dunbar, WV 25064.
