CRAIGO, RALPH N., 72, of Inverness, died Friday (May 26, 2000). Born in Dunbar, W.Va., he came here six years ago from Columbus, Ohio, and was owner-operator of a bar and grill. He was Protestant. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Survivors include his companion, Linda Chapman, Inverness. Hooper Funeral Home, Inverness.
Ralph Craigo, 72, of Inverness
Ralph N. Craigo, 72, of Inverness died Friday, May 26, 2000. He was born in Dunbar, W.Va., and came to Inverness six years ago from Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Craigo was an owner/operator of a bar and grill. He was a U.S. Marine veteran serving during World War II and the Korean conflict. He was Protestant.
He is survived by his best friend, Linda Chapman of Inverness.

Notes:
Ralph was not a veteran of the Korean War.
Ralph liked to tell stories, unfortunately not all of them were true.
Ralph was proud of the fact that he was a U.S. Marine.
He did serve during World War II, but it is my understanding
that he was stationed in Guam.
