Paul E. Crago 86, of Liberty passed away Friday December 26, 2014 following a long illness. He was self-employed for several years as an independent dump truck driver and retired from the U.S Postal Service as a mail carrier. Paul delivered mail for many years on the Liberty postal route. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.

Born August 8, 1928 in Putnam County, he was the son of the late James Allen Crago and Avis Garton Crago. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years Jane Ruth Roush Crago, brothers; Altha Crago, Bob Crago, Dewey Crago, Kenneth “Peck” Crago, Wilmer "Bill" Crago, sisters; Helen Kiesling and Beryl Crago.

Survivors include sons, Paul Allen (Kelly) Crago of Liberty and John Thomas (Osa Lenore) Crago of Walkertown, NC, grandchildren; Jessica Crago, Paul Crago, Cassandra Crago, Caleb Crago and Oliva Crago, sister-in-law, Willa Crago of Charlotte, NC.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Raynes Funeral Home, Buffalo with Rev. Randy Parsons officiating. Burial will follow at the Parkins Cemetery, Liberty, WV. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
