Naomi K. Reavis
KEARNEYSVILLE, W.Va. - Naomi Kathleen "Kitty" Reavis, 74, of Hidden River, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Ranson, W.Va.
Born Sept. 19, 1923, in Oak Hill, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late George and Ruth Pegram Morton.
Her husband of 35 years, William "Bill" Ezra Reavis, also died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997.
She was formerly employed at Hilltop House Hotel in Harpers Ferry, W.Va.
She was of the Brethren faith.
She is survived by one daughter, Rene Sorrell of Hico, W.Va.; two sons, Douglas L. Craigo of Shepherdstown, W.Va., and Charles Craigo of Kearneysville; one stepson, Richard Reavis of California; one sister, Delorise Hughes of Oak Hill, W.Va.; one brother, Haven Stevens of Florida; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Rita Alfano; one grandson; and several sisters and brothers.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home in Charles Town, W.Va. The Rev. James Chambly will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. |
