Junior Clay Craigo

POCA - Junior Clay "Hoot" Craigo, 74, of Poca died July 10, 2000, at home after a short illness.

He was a lifelong resident of Poca, a member of the United Steel Workers and a Navy veteran. He was retired from Monsanto Co., Nitro, with 37 years' service.

Surviving: wife, Delores; sons, Gary of Poca, Danny of Milton; sisters, Willadean Higginbotham of Poca, Louella Jean "Bachie" Muck of Eleanor, Betty Brick of Hurricane; brothers, Ferriel of Fraziers Bottom, Buddy Lee of Richfield, Ohio; two grandchildren; one stepgrandson.

Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Gatens Funeral Home, Poca, with Pastor John Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens, Red House. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
