Headline: John R. Craige Taken By Death

Craigo, John Richard – 77, died yester-
day in his home at Marfrance, Green-
brier County. He was a retired miner.
The body will be taken from Nickell mor-
tuary at East Rainelle to the residence at
3 p. m. today. Service will be at 2 p. m.
Wednesday in Church of God at Mar-
france, with the Rev. Samuel Robert al-
liciating. Interment will follow in the
End-of-the-Trail cemetery. Survivors
are his widow, Anna, at home; two
daughters, Mrs. Naomi Persinger of Red
House and Mrs. Florence Burke of El-
wood, Ind : two sons, Cecil of Rand and
Earl of Dunbar: and a sister, Mrs. Lula
Elswick of Charleston.

The obituary at the top of this page obviously shows the surname misspelled. But it is correct in the article.
Also his mother was Elizabeth Goff Craigo, not Goss.
His wife is referred to as Anna in both of these obituaries, that may be the name that she was known by, but I believe her full name was Malinda Victoria Ann (Harmon) Craigo.
