CECIL ELMORE CRAIGO, 94, OF 5402 CHURCH
Drive, Rand, died May 17, 1988, at home after a long illness.
He was born in Poca and was a 40-year resident of Rand. He
was a retired chief electrician and master mechanic in Fayette and.
Raleigh county mines. He was a former employee of Elk River Coal and
Lumber Co., Clay, with 20 years' service and Dickinson Fuel
Properties, Kanawha County, with 30 years' service. He was a member
of Baptist Temple, Charleston. He was a Mason.
Surviving: wife, Hazel Greathouse Craigo; daughters, Mrs..
Marjorie Young of Whitewater, Wis., Martha Fauber of Bossier City, La
., Mrs. Mary Frances Putterbaugh of Elwood, Ind., Mrs. Nina Brownson
of Balitmore, Md.; sisters, Mrs. Oma Persinger of Red House, Mrs.
Florence Smith of Elwood, Ind.; brother, Earl Craigo of Red House;
eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Stevens-Grass Funeral Home,
Malden, with the Rev. David Fish officiating. Entombment will be in
Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Friends may call after 4 p
.m. today at the funeral home.
