Arthur F. Craigo

LANCASTER, S.C. - Arthur Freeman Craigo, 71, of Lancaster died Aug.
22, 1996, at home.

He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Melbourne, Fla., and a
retired tire recapper. He was a Navy and Air Force veteran of the
Korean and Vietnam wars and member of VFW.

Surviving: wife, Viola Roach Craigo; sons, Robert Gary "Bob" Craigo of
Butner, N.C., Arthur F. "Chip" Craigo Jr. of Lancaster; daughter,
Janice Marshall of FortLawn; sister, Elizabeth Louise McDaniel of
Charleston, W.Va.; five grandchildren.

Service will be 2 p.m. today at Cauthen Funeral Home, Lancaster, with
the Rev. Pamela Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be in Grandview
Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to
Hospice of Lancaster, 800 West Meeting St., Lancaster, S.C. 26720.
